Strathclyde Hospital (NHS) uses genisys to manage documentation generated by the Mental Health Services departments. Documents are captured directly from Microsoft Word, with full document content searching facilities provided. The genisys system is also linked to the Patient records management system (PIMS) for simple retrieval of documents associated with a patient. This implementation follows a successful rollout of a system at Hairmyres Hospital (Part of the same NHS Trust) that managed the scanning and retrieval of documentation in the Accident and Emergency department.
Northumbria Healthcare Trust (NHS) has integrated the genisys into the proprietary system it uses to manage the handling and distribution of purchase invoices. Invoices are scanned and made available via a finance system (ORACLE Financials).
